| Airslide conveying With airslide conveyors a wide range of fine-grained bulk solids can be conveyed at a very low velocity. They are widely used for materials such as cement, fly ash, iron powder or gypsum. This type of conveying can be regarded as an extreme form of dense phase conveying. In situations where the flow of material can be downwards, airslide conveying reduces significantly plant capital costs and operating costs compared with pneumatic conveying systems.
Advantages of airslide conveying systems: • Dust emission-free operations.
• Equipment assembly in small space. • Easy to install in already existing plants, even with space problems. • High simplicity, do not require exhaustive maintenance. • Low capital and operational costs. The wide range of INGESOA® in-line valves available for airslide coveying, makes very effective the material conveyance by this means, since it arrives at any point in the plant, always assuring a 100% TIGHTNESS and thus avoiding any contamination by material mixing or clogging due to undue leakages. |
